Supporting Staff Citizenship

Fatime Kecskemeti  joined JSP in 2013, working as a Warehouse Administrator four days a week at our Rissington warehouse, whilst spending the 5th day attending University.

When our moved our location, Fatime was offered interviews for two positions at our Head Quarters, one in our purchasing department and one in our Quality Assurance department. Having looked at both roles, Fatime decided to apply for the Quality Assurance Assistant role and was offered the position.

Since then Fatime has excelled, training to become the departments Quality Manager and achieving a Diploma in Quality Management and an IRCA Certified Lead Auditor Certificate!

One of Fatime’s stand out moments was her role in transitioning the company from ISO9001:2008 to ISO9001:2015, as well as getting JSP Safety GmbH, our new manufacturing facility based in Germany, added to the ISO certification. JSP Safety Helmets are manufactured under both the ISO9001:2008 Quality Management System (QMS) and the British Standard Institutions (BSI) Kitemark™ scheme.

With Brexit on the horizon, Fatime took the decision to become a British Citizen; a decision supported by JSP, and our CEO – Mark Johnstone and our Director of Respiratory & Technical Support – Matthew Judson, happily volunteering as referees.

We are thrilled to say that the application has been successful and Fatime is now a British Citizen, something of which will act as another huge milestone in her life, and a moment that we at JSP are very proud to be a part of.

Above is a picture of Fatime receiving her Naturalisation Certificate during her ceremony. Fatime was part of a larger group of individuals becoming British Citizens, some of whom were from Germany, Poland, Hungary, The United States, Australia and New Zealand to name a few.

Congratulations Fatime, we look forward to seeing what other achievements the future holds for you!
